Hitchins best curry by far. We’ve tried every Indian in town and this one can’t be beaten on price and quality of food. Great flavours on all their traditional curry dishes and excellent service. 5 stars!

It has been such a wonderful experience eating here. The staff have been so wholesome and welcoming. Myself being Vegan and my partner a meat eater. He loved the lamb shashlik and I had ceylon with vegetables, we shared poppadoms to warm up. They cook their food fresh each day, meaning you can ask to make most items vegan (without ghee). This has made our experience here so easy and welcoming. The decor is cosy and rich. The old fireplace walling and beams makes the room what it is. Could not rate this place enough. Good food, great for gluten free. Poppadoms are GF and made with gram flour. Had a veggie thoran and a tarka dhal + drinks. Went here in a party of five. Service was good, not sure why this place is receiving one star reviews. Would happily return.

The food was great. I would go as far as to say this is one of the best Indian restaurants / takeaways I have been to. The service in the restaurant was really good. The quality of food and service made it more than worth it. Highly recommend
